Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

The following information applies to cancellation, returns and refunds on all orders placed via the Jasper & Tallow website.

  1. Cancellations Pre-delivery
    If, after having placed your order, you change your mind for whatever reason, you may cancel your order at any time up to 14 days after placing the order. All you need to do is advise us in writing via the Contact Us page on our website. Once we acknowledge receipt of your cancellation, you will receive a full refund using the same method as your original payment.
  2. Returns after Delivery
    You have 14 calendar days from receipt of your furniture in which to advise us that you do not want to keep it. After this 14 day period has passed we do not accept returns of any items purchased unless faulty. If you wish to return an item you must write to us using the form on the Contact Us page on our website. Simply complete and submit the form and one of our Customer Services team members will be in touch with you within 24 hours of receipt of your cancellation request.If you have agreed with us that a return of goods is the appropriate course of action we ask that you do the following to assist with the uplift of the goods:- ensure that the furniture is returned in the condition in which it was received. We will not be able to refund the goods in full if there are any signs of damage or misuse.
    – if we are collecting the furniture items from you, please take reasonable care as we only accept returns in the original packaging. Therefore please retain the packaging for all items of cabinet and bedroom furniture and use this to repackage the furniture before return.
    – please make the furniture available for collection anytime within 14 calendar days of advising us that you wish to return the item.
    – We will refund all monies paid by your for the items being returned (excluding the cost of collection of the goods), once the goods are back at our warehouse and have been inspected by our Returns Department for completeness and correct product return
  3. Charges for Returns
    Please be aware when purchasing our furniture that once your purchased furniture has been dispatched from our warehouses, returns charge will apply. Should you wish to return an item of furniture to us (See Point 1 and 2 above) we will collect the items and charge a flat fee of £45.00 for doing so. Please note that for credit or debit card refunds it can take up to 7 working days from the date that we process the repayment for your account provider to credit you with the amount due.
  4. Accidental Damage to Goods During Transit
    Naturally, we aim to deliver all our furniture in good condition. At Jasper & Tallow, we have spent many hours talking to our suppliers about packing and shipping of our products so they arrive safely. We are constantly looking for ways to improve these standards. It is therefore disappointing for you and us when occasionally things go wrong. If there is an issue with your goods on arrival or there are signs of damage in transit, our Customer Service Team will help to resolve the matter for you as quickly as possible. Effectively we will seek to repair, replace or refund the goods delivered or the value thereof. Our delivery team will:- Complete an Incident Report to record the problem and will ask you to sign it. They may also take photographs to accompany the paperwork
    – The Incident Report will be returned to head office and the information will be logged against your order and assessed for action
    – One of our Customer Service Team will contact you and arrange to visit and repair the problem to manufacturing standards, generally within 7 days. If he/she is unable to resolve the matter on the first visit and/or parts are required, we will source them as quickly as possible in order to complete the repair
    – In the event that a repair cannot be made, we will replace the furniture, or give a full refund. The goods that are deemed faulty shall revert to the ownership of Jasper & Tallow, and must be in our possession before a replacement can be made or monies refunded
    – A full refund shall be limited to the original purchase price paid for the unsatisfactory merchandise.
